The Sales Intern will be responsible for assisting sales, marketing and sales management in a number of projects and initiatives.

Shift: Monday Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide research on existing and potential customers.
  • Secure, organize and record pertinent competitive information.
  • Research US EPA Managed permit reports, cross reference applicator number with name to determine customer usage and competitive market share.
  • Help with collating CDC information as related to the industry.
  • Provide assistance in emerging diseases projects.
  • Research industry habitats, record and report on findings (State & Federal Refuge Sites, Waste Water Treatment Plants, etc.).
  • Cross-reference licensing reports to determine company names and related licensing information by State.
  • Conduct outbound calls to qualify sales leads, record in CRM system and report results.
  • Assist with aquatic habitat research projects.
  • Search industry websites for key information and report to sales management.
  • Help maintain and organize sales CRM system (
  • Assist field sales personnel with overflow or as back up for customer phone calls.
  • Secure and organize aquatic permit information in the industry.
  • Manage daily service call list.
  • Present research findings to management.
  • Follow up with contract renewals and/or new contract proposals, especially as it relates to the residential market.
  • Assist Sales Coordinator with monthly and quarterly sales metrics and reports.
  • Attend various meetings to better understand the company, the sales and marketing process, and general business management.
  • Interact with all company units to gain knowledge of internal processes and cross-functional teams.


  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external customers by phone, email and face-to-face.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel and Power Point).
  • Good organizational, presentation and writing skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to support the vision, mission and values of the Company.
