Clarke - a leading provider of solutions for the public health mosquito control market is seeking to individual to support the scientific evidence and strategy relative to new product development and registration initiatives.

The Associate Regulatory Scientist plays a critical role in the development and registration of Clarke's mosquito products.

In this role, you will develop and manage detailed testing plans for technical and scientific product dossiers, provide regulatory and technical review of regulatory dockets, coordinate the activities of outside laboratories, provide training to internal stakeholder on regulatory issues and processes, and help to develop and improve regulatory processes. You'll serve as Clarke's scientific and technical representative at federal and state regulatory agencies and have the opportunity to participate in industry association forums and workgroups.

First and foremost, as our ideal candidate, you will possess keen attention to detail, the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines, and a talent for being able to understand highly technical information and material and translate it into concise and clear written documents and presentations.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in applied or basic science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years' of relevant professional experience - in roles requiring project management and a keen focus on detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general computer systems required. Proficiency in Adobe Suite programs (InDesign, Acrobat X Pro, CS6 or later Creative Suite) and Microsoft OneNote.
  • Proficient in literature and internet research
  • Capable of relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals, and possesses highly effective written, verbal and organizational skills.
  • Capable of collaborating, teaming and working effectively with others in the same department and within cross departmental and cross functional teams.
  • Capable of effectively reviewing, interpreting, and communicating regulatory and technical documents.
  • Able to create plans to track regulatory activity, and to carry out work assignments with sound judgement and to manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
  • Ability to effectively partner with employees, management and cross-functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support mission and vision of the Company.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity and experience with chemical assessment modeling technologies and the scientific and technical parameters required for each.
  • Training and experience in the principles of Green Chemistry.
