Clarke - a leading provider of solutions for the public health mosquito control market is seeking to hire a Director of Product Management to establish, direct, and guide the Company's product management efforts, processes, and programs to ensure the successful management of Clarke mosquito control products through their life cycle.

The Director of Product Management will lead a team of product managers and guide collaboration across Clarke's leadership and functional teams. The initial focus of this role will include direct and hands-on product management responsibility for Clarke's larvicide product portfolio.

This position is perfect for a visionary and strategic leader who is capable of working across diverse teams as we bring innovative tools and solutions to the global public health mosquito control industry and market.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will work with a collaborative and cross-functional team of coworkers from our product management, marketing, sales, product development, regulatory, finance, supply chain and manufacturing teams. You will be a pivotal leader - providing leadership, guidance, and professional development to a team of product managers and bringing together team members and leaders from these functional areas to ensure the development of sound strategy and effective execution in the management of products throughout their lifecycle.

This position will be based out of our location in beautiful St. Charles, IL. Some travel (approximately 30%) should be expected.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 8+ years of relevant product management experience with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
  • Experience in pesticide, herbicide, agchem, or specialty products industry, marketing of products to the governmental/municipal markets, and global product markets is a plus.
  • History of project management accomplishments and initiatives and ability to write clear market-driven product requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing day-to-day relationships with external partners
  • The ability to think and operate effectively at both the strategic and tactical level.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools & programs (including, but not limited to, TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and SAP or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of FastTrack, Microsoft Project similar project management software a plus.
  • Ability to proactively engage internal and external customers and to effectively influence and lead the activities of others with or without formal organizational authority.
  • Strong presentation skills, including experience having independently presented to the Senior Management level
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed assigned targets and deadlines consistently
  • Ability to effectively partner with management, subordinate staff and cross-functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support mission and vision of the Company
