We are Clarke, a privately-held public health, global environmental products and services company.

We have an amazing opportunity for a Field Service Coordinator/Trainer to join our mosquito operations TEAM in Roselle. This person will be responsible for assisting the Service Operation with internal operating system (Prius) updates and improvements, licensing requirements and tracking for all coworkers in the region, field operations, training and onboarding of seasonal and RFT coworkers, scheduling, and assisting with coordinating emergency response and other team activities.

What your new job will entail:

  • Operating System improvements
    • Serves as liaison between national service team and IT team to gather requests for system improvements and enhancements
    • Tests functionality of improvements and introduces/trains on new functionality to Operations Team via workshops and webinars
  • Licensing
    • Management and oversight of all regional licensing activities for regular full time and seasonal coworkers as well as business licensing including tracking licensing requirements, renewal opportunities, expiration dates and communicating this information to coworkers and leadership team
  • Training and Onboarding
    • Conducts weekly onboarding for seasonal coworkers to include safety, customer service and general onboarding training as well as Department of Agriculture test preparation
    • Assists with the development, design and facilitation, of seasonal crew onboarding and training activities such as crew specific training, truck and trailer training and other "in season" training activities
  • Scheduling and Recordkeeping
    • Assists as necessary scheduling of crew and operational activities to ensure contract requirements are met as well as initial data entry of contract set up or daily job tickets
    • Closes work tickets and assists with development and delivery of customer reports
  • Field Operations
    • Performs field operations as necessary to support, understand and assist in the enhancement of operating system and/or during times of peak activity or staffing shortages.
  • Emergency Response
    • Participates in or coordinates Emergency Response as needed or requested through scheduling, licensing, procuring supplies and resources, performing field operations or inventory maintenance.
  • Customer Service, Safety and General Administrative
    • Actively seeks ways to improve the quality and efficiency of operations through ensuring an exceptional internal and external customer experience, participating in safety activities to support a culture of safety, assisting with seasonal recruiting activities as needed and miscellaneous projects and administrative tasks as assigned

What you'll already have mastered...

  • Exceptional organizational skills including ability to develop, design and enhance current processes and systems
  • Intermediate to expert computer proficiency and aptitude utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • 3-5 years previous experience in an administrative support role
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced service operation with some scheduling or dispatching strongly preferred
  • Previous experience designing, developing and facilitating training programs strongly preferred
  • Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information in a variety of ways to engage adult learners
  • Willingness and physical dexterity to be able to perform field operations as necessary
  • The ability to multi-task and effectively partner with cross functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support mission and vision of the Company
  • College degree in related field (Biological/Environmental sciences/Public Health/Human Resources/Training and Development etc.) preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • The desire to work as a team, learn and go "above and beyond" are an absolute must!
