Clarke of Clearwater, MN is seeking to hire an Assistant Crew Supervisor (ACS) who will be responsible for fielding calls and answering questions from crew members, consulting with supervisor, general customer service and day to day office/showroom activities, and performance of field quality assurance checks on a daily basis. This position earns a competitive wage of $14.50/hr. and generally works Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm (Start/end times may vary, nights, weekends and some holidays required). The ACS works on average 40+ hours per week and supports the summer seasonal operations (generally April September).

***please note this position is generally a "day" position but will likely be asked to spray for mosquitoes by truck in the evening as needed*** 


As an ACS, you will be responsible for assisting the Crew Supervisor with scheduling work tickets, responding to Field Technician questions, and conducting quality assurance checks of field work being performed. You love your ACS job as you get to work inside and outside of an office and put your organizational skills to the test as you perform a variety of tasks daily. A map will be given to you by your supervisor for you to utilize as you safely navigate to inspection/treatment sites. You have excellent attention to detail as you schedule work tickets, monitor the field work, and complete daily assignments. You take pride in your work knowing that your contributions are making a direct impact on the environment.

When you are not in the office or out doing quality checks, you are assisting with field activities (truck spraying, backpack applications, etc), tracking/recording inventory, and ensuring safe work practices and procedures are followed at all times.   • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
  • Possess a high school degree or equivalent
  • Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent phone manner and customer service skill
  • Must be proficient in customer service, data entry and Microsoft Office applications
  • Capable of using handheld technical devices including, but not limited to, Smartphone, GPS, and system applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Outstanding knowledge of map reading and navigational skills
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
  • Must be able to work through end of our season (September/October)
  • Must be available to work to work Monday-Friday (Shifts may vary, nights, weekends and some holidays required)
  • Candidate must be comfortable performing assigned duties indoors or in the field as well as function effectively in a very fast paced environment
  • Must be able to start around April 1st and work through the end of the season (September/October).
